Members of St Margarets and Orchard Baptist Churches
process along the streets of the parish
and then hold a joint family service together. We want to witness that we
are still following Jesus as our King and invite people to join us.
The music and songs echo the words shouted on that first Palm Sunday.
"Praise God,
Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hail to the King of Israel!"
Many adults and children watch from their windows and wave as the procession passes.
Palm Crosses are given out at the service to remind
us that this event leads up to Easter.
