Marriage

At a Church Marriage ceremony, the couple choose to make their exclusive commitment / contract to each other in the sight of God and with his blessing. This is intended to be a lifelong commitment and Christian couples know they cannot achieve this without God’s help and try to put him at the centre of their marriages.

to have and to hold
from this day forward;
for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
to love and to cherish,
till death us do part,
according to God’s holy law;
In the presence of God I make this vow” (more…)
