Why a St Margarets Web Site?

In a quiet part of the meeting, following a challenging talk, your webmaster began thinking how children would ever understand why the Church exists from books or an educational visit to an empty church.

He felt challenged to set up a virtual visit to our  Church in Colchester on the internet.

Following a meeting with the vicar to share the idea and after prayerful consideration a web group was set up to consider the possibilities.

A demonstration was given to the P.C.C. who were keen to give it a trial. The structure prepared and the the costing agreed, the Church set about collecting material and pictures.

The result of the original web groups efforts and subsequent updates are what you see now.
